CAPITAL ALLOWANCES 

Tax allowances for expenditure on equipment/machinery are being reduced from April 2012. We can help with the planning and timing of expenditure.

EMPLOYERS 

Company pension schemes are becoming compulsory from 2012, even for small businesses.

Employers (even small ones) and employees will have to contribute.

There are very few exemptions.

We are running workshops on Monday 4th and Thursday 7th July - please contact us for details.

BUDGET NEWS 2011

The mileage rate is rising to 45p for the first 10,000 miles for employees using their own cars for business.

The personal tax-free allowance is increasing from £6,475 to £7,475 in April 2011.

The Corporation Tax rate for small businesses is reducing to 20% from 1 April 2011.

We are breaking up on Thursday 22nd December and will open again on Tuesday 3rd January 2012.

3 Sept: Julie has had a baby girl - Chloe Megan - 5lb 15oz. Well done Julie!

23 August : Julie has passed her exams and is now a qualified Certified Accountant.

20 August : Julie has started her Maternity Leave.  

5 July : Our new apprentice Sarah Teale has joined us.
